Case Study: Supporting local AFL Club, Port Adelaide Football Club for their Hall of Fame and 2023 Season Launch
On February 22nd 2023, the Port Adelaide Football Club Hall of Fame and 2023 Season Launch was held at Adelaide Oval. This night involved new players presented with their playing guernseys as well as five new recipients being inducted into the Port Adelaide Football Club Hall of Fame.
The PAFC events team approached Every Event Australia after contacting numerous event hire companies across Adelaide to try and source 13x clear acrylic plinths to display their clubs’ medals and awards on for this night.
The EEA team was able to approach 7+ partnering vendors on the EEA platform to see if anyone could accommodate.
It appeared to be rather difficult to find a single business that could accommodate all 13. However, by pulling resources together, we were able to come up with a solution that involved utilising plinths between two EEA partnering vendors and the EEA teams own supply.
The EEA team presented the PAFC events team with a design mock that featured 8x tall plinths evenly spaced apart with 5x smaller plinths placed in front but in between each gap of the tall plinths.
This not only allowed for each medal to be clearly visible on the stage, but was also able to accommodate stage spacing by condensing the overall display length.
